Unboxing of the Toshiba NB205-N311 net book. I installed Windows 7 and it is blazing fast. Very satisfied! After trying different setups to get the most performance possible this is my suggestion: OS: Windows 7 RC Browser: Google Chrome (kicks firefox’s butt) Media Player: VLC Media Player (freeware) Office: Custom Install of only Word, Excel & Powerpoint. (if you need any other like Access, Visio or Project, it’s fine but you are probably buying the wrong device) Upgrade to a 2GB Ram. (is Only about $28, and 1GB is running super fast for me already, so 2GB should be pretty good) Overall I really like it. 9.5hrs of battery!!!!! (is actually like 7) Huge trackpad!!! (best trackpad in a netbook, multitouch is just a software gimmick) I followed this video to install windows 7 with a USB drive. www.youtube.com
